Confoco's products are available in a range of moisture contents using a variety of dehydration
processes that include air, drum, freeze, juice infused, spray and vacuum drying.
Apple
Apples contain two types of fibre, insoluble and soluble fibre
which can lower cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of hardening
of the arteries, heart attacks and strokes. The natural sweetness
of apples comes from the fructose, a sugar which is broken down
easily when combined with apples' natural fibre, thus helping
to keep blood sugar levels stable.
Apricot
Nutrients in apricots can help protect the heart and eyes,
as well as provide the disease fighting effects of fibre.
The high beta carotene and lycopene activity of apricots makes
them important heart health foods.
Pear
Pears are a good source of vitamin C and copper. Because they
are hypoallergenic they are often recommended as an introductory
fruit for infants.
Cherries
The antioxidant benefits of cherries help prevent the signs
of ageing. The anthocyanins in cherries block inflammatory
enzymes and help reduce pain. They are a good source of vitamin
A, calcium and iron.
