Confoco's products are available in a range of moisture contents using a variety of dehydration
processes that include air, drum, freeze, juice infused, spray and vacuum drying.
Dates
Dates provide natural fibre, essential vitamins and minerals such as
B complex vitamins, magnesium and iron. They can be used as a fat
replacer or to add natural sweetness in traditional bake applications.
Fig
Figs are a good source of potassium, which can help to control blood
pressure. They are also a good source of dietary fibre and add natural sweetness.
Grape
Grapes contain quercitin and resveratrol. They appear to decrease the risk of
heart disease by reducing platelet clumping and harmful blood clots and
protecting LDL cholesterol from the free radical damage that initiates LDL's
artery damaging actions.
Tomato
Tomatoes are a good source of vitamins and minerals, high in vitamin C and
a good source of vitamin A. The antioxidant lycopene, a carotenoid found
in tomatoes, has raised interest due to its potential anti cancer properties.
Lycopene is believed to neutralise harmful free radicals.
